During 2021 and 2022 I had the honour of interviewing, on radio, people who have been involved in the field of Development Education in Ireland from the 1960s to the present day. Together, the series of interviews, in eight one hour shows, provides a contribution towards an oral history of Development Education in Ireland, from the 1960s to the present day.
This is the second in a series of eight programmes.
Programme 2 – 1970s and 1980s onwards: Mary Mangan, Tony Daly and Eilish Dillon
This second in a series of eight programmes, features people who have been involved with Dev Ed since the 1970s and 80s. We speak to Mary Mangan, Tony Daly and Dr Eilish Dillon, all people who are highly respected in this field and it is a great honour to have them on our programme.
My thanks to Mary, Tony and Eilish. I salute your immense contribution to the DE movement. Thank you for sharing your experience with a wider public.
